Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, representing the militant wing of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, handed over 13 Israelis and 7 foreigners to the Red Cross within the scope of the prisoner exchange agreement with Israel. This was reported by the official telegram channel groups.

“As part of the humanitarian ceasefire, Al Qassam Brigades handed over 13 detained Israelis and 7 foreign citizens to the Red Cross,” the group said.

Hamas gave the green light to resume prisoner and detainee exchanges with Israel and praised the efforts of Egypt and Qatar to achieve a temporary ceasefire agreement.

Before that, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari statedIt was stated that significant progress had been made in the release of the second part of the hostages held by the Palestinian radical group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
