The southern group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction shot down 12 unmanned aerial vehicles and six HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) shells. In this respect TASS said Vadim Astafiev, head of the group’s press center.
According to him, the clashes took place in the settlements of Peski, Maryinka, Novopetrikovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“12 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems” <…> and 6 HIMARS missiles,” Astafiev shared.
Before that, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reportedIt was stated that on the night of November 24, Russian air defense systems destroyed 13 UAVs flying over the Crimean Peninsula. Three more drones were shot down in the Volgograd region. The incident was called an attempted terrorist attack using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
Also, on November 23, a kamikaze drone belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was attacked Kozinka village, Grayvoronsky urban district, Belgorod region.
