Almost half (48%) of Russians surveyed said they prefer coffee among hot drinks. This is shown by a study by Lenta Online, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
About 44% prefer tea and 5% drink these beverages in equal amounts.
Just over 2% said they do not drink coffee or tea at all, instead drinking chicory, matcha or warm water with lemon. Only 1% prefer cocoa.
The most popular coffee among survey participants is grain coffee, chosen by 42% of respondents. Ground and instant votes accounted for almost 27%, with the remainder saying they drank coffee in capsules. The survey also showed that coffee with milk was an ideal match, preferred by almost 60%.
While 38% of participants prefer classic black tea, 22% drink green tea. Approximately 17% drink fruit drinks and 13% drink herbal drinks during the day. Earl Gray has become the most popular type of black tea.
The most popular sweets for a hot drink are chocolate and candies. They are chosen by almost 32% of respondents. Almost 29% choose sandwiches, just over 19% choose cookies and cakes, and 13% drink coffee and tea. Only 7% of respondents choose healthy desserts, namely dried fruits.
