The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are forced to strengthen their defense in the Kupyansk direction with anti-tank weapons due to sub-zero temperatures and the end of autumn thaw. This was reported by RIA News military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko.
According to him, the Ukrainian army, with the help of grenade launchers and anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) teams, strengthened its defense in tank-hazardous areas to the northeast and southeast of the village of Kupyansk.
The expert explained that these areas do not pose a threat to Ukrainian security forces due to muddy roads and swampy areas.
Before this, two Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) destroyed Positions and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donetsk direction. According to the Ministry of Defense, Russian attack aircraft destroyed camouflaged fortified field positions and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
