In Moscow, the Meshchansky Court placed under house arrest former Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Pyotr Nidzelsky, who was accused of large-scale fraud. This was reported by TASS.

It was noted that Nidzelsky will spend a little less than two months under house arrest.

“The court refused to allow the investigation to arrest Pyotr Nidzelsky and chose the preventive measure for the defendant in the form of house arrest until January 18, 2024,” the statement said.

It was noted that in the near future, the court, with the participation of the prosecutor, will consider the issue of choosing preventive measures against the man in the form of detention.

Lawyers asked the court to soften the preventive measure and announced that they were ready to pay bail of 15 million rubles.

Shabutdinova sent to pre-trial detention center By December 16 in eight fraud cases. The investigation estimated the damage from the activities of the business coach at 4 million rubles. The defense requested that Shabutdinov be placed under house arrest because he has children born in 2022 and 2023, but the request was rejected.

Previously the court rejected Release Blinovskaya from house arrest.
