Young man sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for “mining” more than 800 objects in the Russian Federation and Belarus

The incidents for which the young man was convicted all occurred in 2021. Between March and May, he sent letters about mining objects from mail addresses of foreign domains. Another 395 objects received messages in Russian regions and 450 objects in Belarus. The defendant was detained in Omsk.
