The highest incidence of seasonal diseases such as flu, ARVI or COVID-19 comes right after the January holidays. This was stated by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
According to him, traditionally the increase in the incidence of these viruses usually begins in November-December. He urged people to get vaccinated while there is still time.
He said that now all laboratories in all regions of Russia are equipped with equipment for PCR diagnostics. Rapid tests allow you to make a diagnosis in 30 minutes.
He also noted that you should not self-medicate if you are feeling unwell. Popova advised to consult a doctor immediately so that the correct and effective treatment can be started in a timely manner.
