Roskomnadzor (RKN) will block pirates who spread LGBT propaganda in video content. This has been reported “Vedomosti”.

Previously, legal services were solely responsible for displaying such content in Russia.

The mechanism for blocking prohibited resources was developed by the participants of the anti-piracy declaration (RKN, Media Communications Union (MKS) and copyright holders). It combines data from the Joint Prohibited Materials Register and another register where legitimate services upload links to pirated content.
