Israel condemns Houthis’ seizure of Israeli ship and blames Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement on social media that Israeli officials criticized the seizure of the Galaxy Leader cargo ship by Yemeni Houthi rebels in the Gulf of Aden. X.

“We strongly condemn Iran’s attack on an international ship,” the broadcast said.

Netanyahu’s office blamed Iran for the incident.

The statement said, “(The ship) was seized by the Houthi militia at the request of Iran.”

According to the statement made by the Israeli Prime Ministry, the ship belongs to a British company and is managed by a Japanese company.
