A sharp cold wave will occur in six regions of Russia in the coming days. This was reported by TASS Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to him, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk regions, Khakassia and Yakutia will fall into the severe frost zone. Vilfand noted that “cold waves” are expected in various parts of the Northwestern Federal District.
“In several regions, deviations from the norm (cold waves) of 7 degrees or more are predicted for several days,” the scientific director of the Center for Hydrometeorology said.
Temperatures will drop by 10-15 degrees in Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk regions. It will rise to 27-30 degrees below zero in one of the coming nights. On November 20, the temperature in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will drop to minus 15 degrees. In the middle of the week, the temperature will drop to minus 30 degrees in Khakassia and minus 30-40 degrees in Yakutia.
