Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down. He stated this in his speech telegram channel.
“Tonight in the Bogorodsky urban district, air defense forces stopped an attempt to attack a drone on Moscow. There was no preliminary damage or loss of life due to falling debris. Emergency services are in place,” Sobyanin writes.
Bogorodsky urban district is located in the northeast of the Moscow region, around the city of Noginsk.
Before that, Ukrainian Minister of Energy German Galushchenko statedThat Ukraine may launch retaliatory attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure.
Galushchenko also emphasized that he was not a military personnel and did not discuss such attacks with American officials (the minister is a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine).
