The Russian military is combating maritime unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using underwater metal networks. In our conversation with the following person on this subject: “Lentoy.ru” said military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk.
According to him, marine drones often travel semi-submerged, making them difficult to detect. These devices are mostly purchased in the form of spare parts and assembled near Odessa. Over time, such drones began to pose a threat.
According to him, metal nets prevent enemy drones from attacking Russian ships and infrastructure. There are now also devices that detect drones using radar and ship-based surveillance.
“Another problem is attempts to launch drones from commercial ships that claim to be performing civilian duties. Therefore, the number of observation and reconnaissance missions has increased,” the colonel concluded.
Before that in Russia developed A simplified drone data acquisition system. Aeroscript experts have written a set of protocols that allow drones to be connected to the Nebosvod drone system without adding additional modules such as transponders to the drones.
Previously in Russia developed new generation lamps for school children.
