A total of 139 Spaniards residing in Gaza and their families landed at the Torrejón military airport in Madrid this Thursday, ending the three-day joint evacuation operation between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They arrived around six in the afternoon on the Armed Forces’ A330 aircraft. These are 85 Spanish-Palestinians and their families. Among these are 64 children, three of them babies.

They were received by Minister of Foreign Affairs José Manuel Albares and Minister of Defense Margarita Robles.
