Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that Ukrainian troops should reconsider tactics and strategy. This was reported by TASS.
According to him, the Ukrainian side has a very clear understanding of what is needed by the end of 2023 and 2024. Podolyak believes that it is necessary to adjust the tactics of the troops, taking into account the dominant advantages that the Russian side has.
Podolyak also admitted that the results of the five-month work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were far from expected. He added that “offensive operations in several directions have not yet been completed.”
Before this Podolyak statedThe counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) failed due to the speed of supply of Western weapons.
According to him, in the fall of 2022, Kiev held active negotiations with foreign partners on the transfer of equipment. Podolyak emphasizes that this happened very slowly, logistics were worked out, many approvals were obtained, and then everything went beyond the delivery schedule.
