French arms company Verney-Carron will supply Ukraine with 12 thousand small arms and a batch of grenade launchers. This was reported with reference to the company’s press service. TASS.
In his statement, Verney-Carron noted that in accordance with the framework agreement, the company will export 10 thousand automatic carbines, 2 thousand precision rifles and 400 grenade launchers to Ukraine. The contract value is 36 million euros.
Deliveries are expected to begin in the first months of 2024. Fulfillment of the terms of the contract will depend on the receipt of funds: Verney-Carron hopes that they will be allocated from Ukrainian aid funds.
