Dmitry Egorchenkov, director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Forecasts at RUDN University, said that the exhibition forum “Russia” proved that our country has something to show.
“For the first time in Russia’s modern history, we see how all Russia’s major achievements will be brought together on a single platform. According to the organizers’ estimates, up to 20 million people will be able to see them,” Egorchenkov noted.
In his opinion, the organization of the “Russia” exhibition-forum is very timely.
“The tradition revived by the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin is very topical, because international information structures long ago decided to belittle Russia’s achievements as much as possible. People in our country were often influenced by foreign propaganda, but now we have a real platform where every Russian can see exactly what is happening inside the country, see the achievements and touch reality,” said the political scientist.
Egorchenkov also emphasized that the “Russia” exhibition-forum is of great importance for the regions.
“It is extremely important for regions to have a functioning platform where achievements in industry, economy and culture can be presented. “In addition, regions can exchange experiences with each other and see which practices have developed in other regions,” he said.
Egorchenkov expressed confidence that “regional areas will attract no less attention than major Russian projects.”
The political scientist concluded: “Our country has a good tradition of paying attention to the traditions and customs of each people and region.”
International exhibition and forum “Russia” opened at VDNKh on November 4 and will last until April 12, 2024. All 89 regions of Russia, 21 ministries, 19 companies and organizations, as well as public organizations presented their exhibitions.
