St. A man in St. Petersburg was hospitalized after going into the forest to pick berries. In this respect reports Leningrad Regional Clinical Hospital in social networks.

According to a resident of St. Petersburg, he collected berries in September, but by the end of the trip the berries fell off. The man gathered them up and then realized he couldn’t get up.

The next day he suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. There, doctors discovered a brain hematoma, which was promptly removed.

“While in intensive care, it was revealed that the main cause of the stroke was a large and rare hormonally active tumor of the adrenal gland,” the publication said.

As a result, although the operation was quite difficult, a tumor of approximately 18 centimeters in size was removed from the patient.

The man has now recovered and is receiving treatment for his stroke.
