Russia wants to ban the provision of certain services to illegal immigrants. The relevant draft law was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. According to him, this bill will be submitted to the State Duma in the near future. As Kazakova noted, the document envisages “prohibiting the provision of services such as opening bank accounts to illegal immigrants, i.e. the ability to transfer money, vehicle registration, marriage registration, and blocking all types of property.” .
“If you are an illegal immigrant you should not be entitled to these services,” he said.
According to Kazakova, such measures will lead to the detection and removal of illegal immigrants from Russian territory.
As he noted, there are a total of 6.4 million foreign citizens in the Russian Federation, most of whom entered the Russian Federation for work purposes.
