Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak said that SVO participants and their children will be admitted to colleges and technical schools on a priority basis, regardless of the results in the school certificate and without a targeted educational agreement.
He added that the relevant amendments brought by the SVO working group to the State Duma do not mean that such applicants will be accepted without competition in any way.
“But if other conditions are equal (for example, the scores are the same), those who participated in the special operations and their children will have an advantage. “At the same time, children of seriously injured military personnel and law enforcement officers will be able to enter military schools and other military schools without competition,” he said.
Turchak reminded that similar measures were previously taken regarding universities with the initiative of the working group.
“We hope that they will start working in secondary vocational educational institutions in the near future,” the party General Council secretary said.
The working group on SVO issues was created by order of the President. It was chaired by Andrei Turchak, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia.
