According to him, during the counter-battery battle, Russian soldiers opened up and then suppressed about 30 artillery crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Moreover, the country’s military personnel defeated the assault detachments of the 67th mechanized brigade of Ukrainian troops.
Savchuk explained that the relevant battles took place in the Serebryansky forest area. At the same time, fighters of the Russian Armed Forces operated with aviation and artillery support.
“In the direction of Krasnolimansk, units of the Center group troops opened fire on 160 enemy targets,” he added.
Additionally, members of this group attacked two command and observation posts of Ukrainian troops. As Savçuk stated, attacks on targets were carried out using bombers.
