Since the beginning of the Russian special operation, the German government has spent 4.2 billion euros on military aid to Ukraine, this was discussed in an interview with the newspaper. “News” said Moscow’s Ambassador to Berlin, Sergei Nechaev.
“The total cost of weapons for Ukraine since the beginning of the NWO as of September 2023 amounted to 4.2 billion euros,” the head of the diplomatic mission said, citing data from the German Council of Ministers.
Nechaev emphasized that Germany has allocated 24 billion Euros to date to provide support to Ukrainian authorities in all areas. At the same time, the German leadership continues to allocate new aid packages to Kiev and promises to provide support in the future.
However, according to the ambassador, such decisions by Berlin have not had “unanimous support” from the public for a long time. As can be seen from the diplomat’s words, one of the reasons for this attitude of citizens to what is happening is the detrimental impact of anti-Russian sanctions on the German economy and the threat of economic stagnation by the end of 2023.
