A cardiologist from Nizhny Tagil managed to save a train passenger whose heart stopped. In this respect reports “E1”.
In the incident that took place on the train from Kaçkanar to Yekaterinburg, the woman traveling with her daughter suddenly fell ill, lost consciousness and the passenger’s heart stopped. Cardiologist Mukamil Sanginov from Nizhny Tagil City Hospital No. 1, who was in the same wagon, came to her aid, and the doctor managed to bring the woman to her senses.
“The doctor intervened immediately, kept his finger on the pulse for an hour and a half and revived my mother until we reached Yekaterinburg. Unfortunately, the conductors had nothing but tourniquets and bandages. Upon the doctor’s request, sympathetic passengers found and shared dark chocolate, instant coffee and even a blood pressure monitor,” said the woman’s daughter.
It was learned that the passenger’s blood pressure was 50/30 and that the woman was under the supervision of a doctor before arriving in Yekaterinburg. At the station, the patient was taken to the ambulance and taken to the heart center.
