Taiwanese newlyweds took a wedding photo against the backdrop of a garbage mountain, writes Motherhood. In this way, they wanted to draw attention to environmental problems.

Environmental activist Iris Xue and her fiancee came to the landfill for a photo shoot on their wedding day. It took the couple three hours to reach the location, but the newlyweds are sure it was worth it.

“So many of my friends and family told me they were so impressed when they saw our wedding photos,” the 33-year-old bride said.

Additionally, Xue and her lover had an “eco-friendly” wedding. Only vegetarian food was served at the banquet, and guests brought paper containers to eat. After the evening, all the plates were taken back by their owners.

Social network users liked the couple’s photos but were worried that the smell in the dump was not very pleasant.

A bride who was previously abandoned on her wedding day continued celebrating in England without groom.
