Russian intelligence services have determined the exact structure of the organized crime group (OCG) Khimprom, which creates a drug distribution network in the Russian Federation and Ukraine. This was reported by RIA News citing an anonymous source in Russian intelligence services.
“The Khimprom organized crime group has about a thousand members,” the article states.
According to the agency, members of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, judges and journalists worked for this group.
The document states that Khimprom members were responsible for the arson attempt on the house of Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy in Spain.
As the agency’s interlocutor said, in 2014 the criminal group was created, led and coordinated by 35-year-old Russian Egor Burkin, who is currently hiding in Mexico.
