On October 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces “targetedly attacked” the Kursk nuclear power plant with three unmanned aerial vehicles. This is stated in comments Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova.
According to the diplomat, an explosive-laden UAV crashed into a nuclear waste repository and damaged its walls. The other two crashed into the station’s administrative building complex.
“What happened proves that there are no restrictions on the criminal Kiev regime, including from acts of nuclear terrorism. They could not help but realize that the result of a UAV raid could be a full-scale nuclear disaster that would affect the territory of many countries. Zakharova said that no other target was initially identified to attack the nuclear power plant, which was a completely peaceful infrastructure facility.
According to preliminary data cited by a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the drones used components supplied to Ukraine by Western countries.

He also called on all governments to strongly condemn “Kiev’s barbaric actions” that could lead to extremely dangerous and irreparable consequences.
“Relevant international organizations, environmental NGOs and civil society should also make an appropriate assessment of this terrorist act,” the diplomat said.
