Drones attacked a US base near an oil field in Syria

By TV channel El MayadeenA US military base in the Al-Omar oil field in eastern Syria was attacked with unmanned aerial vehicles. During the attack, explosions occurred on the grounds of the military facility, which were heard from the region.

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance movement, which includes Shiite militias that previously fought against terrorists from the Islamic State group (an organization banned in Russia), claimed responsibility for the attack on this American base on October 28. Also on October 26, an air base in al-Malikiyah in northeastern Syria and a US military camp near the Koniko gas field in Deir ez-Zor province were attacked.

Shiite fighters claimed that their drones hit ground targets.

Iraqi Islamic Resistance spokesman Jafar al-Husseini told Al Mayadeen that mujahideen units sided with their Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip and targeted American bases to support them.
