Moscow Military Commissar Maxim Loktev said that due to the increasing number of contracted military personnel going to the special military operation (SVO) zone, the situation with the rotation of people currently taking part in the operation may change. This was reported by TASS.
“I think that this (rotation status – socialbites.ca) will change and the position of the Ministry of Defense is very correct. “We all understand that there is a need for rotation and people need to be listened to,” he said.
He recalled that a fairly large number of contracted citizens (military personnel) expressed a desire to join the SVO.
“I think the Ministry of Defense will have more opportunities to release military personnel so they can be at home,” Loktev said.
In September, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev reportedIt was stated that the rotation of Russians invited to participate in the special operation will not be carried out due to the new mobilization wave.
September 15, Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov statedCitizens mobilized to Russian troops will be able to return home only after the end of the special operation in Ukraine.
