FSB officers prevented a terrorist attack on the military registration and enlistment office in Tver. This has been reported TASS At the Public Relations Center (PSC) of the FSB of Russia.
An attacker assigned by Ukrainian special services tried to carry out a terrorist attack. The curators gave him instructions that the man had removed weapons and an improvised explosive device from a warehouse previously equipped for him. The attacker was planning to make an explosion in the building of the Tver military commissariat.
During the arrest, the suspect resisted and was neutralized. DSP noted that security guards and civilians were not injured.
Ready-made handmade explosives and RGD-5 hand grenades were found at the scene. Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened regarding preparation for a terrorist attack.
The FSB also found that the agent collected information about military facilities and fuel and energy infrastructure in the region and passed it on to the enemy side in exchange for a financial reward.
