The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered the opening of a criminal case regarding the arson of wreaths at the monument in Kotlas in the Arkhangelsk region. This was reported by RF IC.
According to the ministry, the incident occurred on October 3 at the city’s amusement park. Minors set fire to the wreaths at the monument to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. The monument suffered damage requiring restoration work.
