Members of the Severskie gang, which had been hiding for 20 years and was responsible for nearly 30 human massacres, were caught in the Moscow region. This was reported by RIA News Regarding employees of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region.

According to the agency, there were approximately 18 people in the criminal group. The bandits massacred dozens of people in the Moscow, Kostroma, Vladimir and Yaroslavl regions, where they operated for more than 20 years.

Seven bandits have now been arrested. Some members of the organized crime group refuse to testify on principle.

It was stated that the gang possessed approximately 46 pistols and machine guns, 6 thousand ammunition, 5 RPG-18 anti-tank grenades and fragmentation grenades. The criminals also had explosives and explosive devices in their arsenal.
