Germany has supplied three Gepard self-propelled guns, armored vehicles and 40 unmanned reconnaissance aerial vehicles to Ukraine since the beginning of October, according to an updated list on the German government website.
At the same time, the German government does not yet plan to supply Taurus cruise missiles to the conflict zone in Ukraine. In this respect stated Berlin’s Ambassador to Kiev, Martin Jäger.
As the ambassador said, the German side has already informed the Ukrainian authorities of its decision to postpone the supply of missiles. The ambassador emphasized that Berlin provided detailed information to Kiev on this issue.
Jäger also drew attention to the German government’s preparations to provide a new aid package to Ukraine. German authorities are expected to allocate 1 billion Euros for Kiev’s needs this time.
The ambassador explained that the new aid package will include “really important components.” In particular, we are talking about technology that will strengthen the country’s air defense (air defense).
