The FSB warned that attempts by fraudsters to obtain the data of doctors and teachers in Moscow are increasing. writes about this RIA News.

According to the ministry, fraudsters change phone numbers and accounts on social networks. Scammers are impersonating law enforcement officials, sending fake requests to corporate executives via instant messengers, and requesting employees’ profiles and information about their income.

After receiving the data, the attackers go directly to the organizations’ employees and inform them of the alleged verification, forcing them to send money or even re-register their properties in the process.

The Ministry noted that they carried out operational search activities in person, not by phone, by presenting their official IDs.
