Futurist Alexander Kononov says that the most important among such tasks will be the expansion of space. Russia will take a leading position in achieving this, stated He speaks to the Public News Service.
The futurist believes that after overcoming the current crisis, the planet’s population will strive for human civilization to reach the cosmic level. He believes that this field will begin to actively develop in this century.
Kononov believes that new professions related to space colonization will emerge. According to him, this will not only create new jobs, but also solve problems related to conflicts on Earth.
“The space expansion industry will become a new and powerful field of activity,” Kononov is convinced. – And therefore, now most of the functions performed by humans can be transferred to robots, that is, artificial intelligence. And people will be able to focus on new tasks.”
According to him, the space industry will be the main industry and will be responsible for the formation of at least 50% of the total GDP. Kononov also described Russia as a future leader in space exploration, the “breadbasket of the world” and the main resource base of the planet.
Talking about new professions, the futurist added that they will also take part in the fields of robotization, creation of new system solutions and introduction of cyber technologies.
