Retired Colonel, Director of the Air Defense Forces Museum Yuri Knutov said in an interview: URA.RUIt is stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing a plan to attack Russian thermal power plants (CHP) in order to deprive people of heat and light.
According to the expert, unmanned aerial vehicles have the possibility of attacking both military and infrastructure facilities. Using UAVs is the most practical method to carry out such attacks.
Knutov said Ukraine is developing drones that can travel long distances to try to attack power facilities and substations, if possible in winter, in order to cause serious accidents and power outages.
The colonel explained that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is much less costly than missile strikes on Ukraine. UAVs can be sent in large numbers, in which case there is a possibility that some of them will reach the target.
Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference following his visit to China this week statedThat the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction did not bring results to Ukraine, but only losses.
Previously in Russia was created new drone suppression system.
