According to Thor Wennesland, the UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, the armed conflict between Israel and the radical Palestinian movement Hamas has created a critical situation in the region.

Newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth “We are on the brink of a deep and dangerous abyss that could change the course of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and perhaps even the entire Middle East,” Wennesland reports.

It was also learned that two officials from President Joe Biden’s administration said that they would argue that the United States should continue to finance Ukraine and Israel. He will announce this in his speech in the Oval Office on Thursday.

The prime-time speech came before the White House asked Congress for more than $100 billion to provide aid and resources to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan and the U.S. border with Mexico. Biden is expected to argue that supporting Ukraine and Israel is a matter of US national security at a time when the world is at a turning point.

Previously Netanyahu statedHe said Israel had launched a massive attack “like never before”.
