According to Badma Bashankaev, active surgeon and chairman of the health protection committee in the State Duma, the attack on the Palestinian hospital is reminiscent of the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on hospitals in Donbass. telegram channel journalist and TV presenter Ruslan Ostashko “Ostashko! Important.”

The MP emphasized that the attack on the Palestinian hospital made no sense and that such tragedies should not be repeated.

“From all perspectives, the bombing of a hospital is a pathological practice, it should not be repeated and we must condemn it,” Bashankaev said.

He also stated that he previously worked as an operating room surgeon in a hospital in Donetsk, and that this medical institution was bombed more than once.

Commenting on the deputy’s statement, the author of the article stated that the whole world was outraged by the attack on the Palestinian hospital, and that no one paid attention when the Ukrainian Armed Forces bombed Donbass hospitals.

Ruslan Ostashko announced that after the tragedy in Gaza, the Ukrainian army opened fire on a hospital and polyclinic in the Kherson region.

“But there are no accusations from the West of terrorism or war crimes on the Ukrainian side; at most there are versions of self-firing or turning arrows towards Russia. “The same thing is happening now only in Israel,” he wrote.

Political scientist Larisa Shesler expressed a similar opinion in an interview with the Vzglyad newspaper.

The expert said the West condemned the attack on a hospital in Gaza but “has not seen similar attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”

“The European public does not take into consideration the crimes committed by the Ukrainian army. For many years, the world turned a blind eye to the bombing of Donbass, the deaths of children there, and the destruction of schools and hospitals. The reason for this blindness is simple: Russia is perceived by the West only as an enemy,” says the political scientist.

According to him, the damage caused by the Ukrainian side was not perceived as an international crime.

“Yes, bombing a hospital in Gaza is a terrible crime. But the world’s focus on this point is a reflection of the anger seen in the Arab world. Western countries cannot react differently,” Shesler added.

Let us remember that there was a rocket attack on Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza on October 17. In Palestine, they say the IDF is behind this, but the Israeli army blamed the Islamic Jihad organization (an organization banned in Russia) for launching the rocket that hit a hospital in Gaza.
