The majority of Russians (70%) are not afraid of a new coronavirus wave and do not plan to get vaccinated again. According to a survey conducted by AlfaStrakhovanie, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca, one in three people believe that the virus is weakening from strain to strain.

41% of those surveyed had had Covid once. 47 percent have not yet encountered the virus. At the same time, 61 percent were not vaccinated against “corona”. More than half (55%) experienced a mild form of the disease. 38% of respondents experienced moderate illness, but none were hospitalized.

Covid results are seen in 57 percent of those who are sick. 51% get tired easily, 46% develop shortness of breath, and one in four people cannot fully regain their sense of smell after losing their sense of smell. In addition, the interviewed people who survived the disease noted a general weakening of the immune system, constant coughing, hair loss, increased sweating, problems with memory, heart, blood vessels and joints. 70 percent of those surveyed do not find the new virus strains dangerous and are confident that the epidemic will not occur again and that the disease is now milder.

Therefore, 41 percent of Russians do not follow Covid news and are not aware of new strains. One in four people know that a new type of virus has emerged: “pyrola”. 18% slowed down their information on “kraken”.

One in four participants says that the most effective measure in combating the sensational virus is self-isolation. 22 percent believe the mask regimen is effective, and 20 percent believe the vaccine is effective. 13 percent are in favor of canceling mass events, and 15 percent are in favor of switching to remote working. Russians see border closures and mandatory PCR testing as an unpopular measure to combat the virus.
