Scammers communicated with the 69-year-old woman for a long time. They called a Russian woman in the summer and said that someone was trying to get a loan for her, but the bank could supposedly protect her under a special program.

As a result, the woman withdrew all her savings and sent them to a “safe account”. At one point, the attackers persuaded a Muscovite to sell his city center apartment. They also assisted the victim with a real estate agent and a new registration. The pensioner received 21 million rubles from buyers and transferred this amount to the courier.

In total, the woman transferred 25 million rubles to the fraudsters. They are currently looking for scammers.
