The College of Dentists and Stomatologists of Alicante (COEA) will recognize two of its members and board members at the IX Health Gala of the Alicante Professional Health Association (Upsana) on Thursday, October 19. where eleven professional bodies will recognize the work of their members.
COEA first presented the “Excellence in Postgraduate Teaching Award” to Dr. Dr., a graduate of the University of Valencia in Medicine and Surgery, a specialist in Stomatology and one of the pioneers of osseointegrated implant applications. Lino Esteve will present it to Colomina. in the dental profession.
The honoree, who has private teaching experience since 1995, has trained over 200 fellow dentists and organized advanced Implantology residencies in the private clinic.
Also Dr. Esteve is the co-author of three books on Oral Implantology and has guest lectured at universities such as Harvard, New York, Toulouse, Barcelona, and Madrid.
Dr. at school Esteve has served as president of the Alicante Provincial Board of the Official College of Dentists and Stomatologists, the Alicante Dental Research Group and the Alicante and Murcia Implantological Studies Group, and is also a Dr. COEA Board of Directors.
On the other hand, Upsana will give special posthumous recognition to dentist Hiris Carrasco Rodríguez, who in recent years has been the organizer of an activity that promotes relationships between professionals from different health specialties. He organized COEA’s Rowing Tournament in Santa Apolonia, giving it an intercollegiate character.
This championship is still valid and for several months has been named after her alma mater, a woman who was always interested in the school of which she was a member, a very strong woman and willing to help others. Due to his social and volunteer commitment, Hiris Carrasco was also a supporter of the educational project “Your teeth are for life”, which brought together schools and institutes in the state.
