German citizen Sven Marco Mario Kuhn received a residence permit in Russia for assisting participants in a special military operation (SVO). This was reported by press service Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region.

According to the ministry, Kun lives with his family in the Moscow region. Participates in volunteer activities to assist SVO participants.

The German citizen was granted a residence permit at a ceremony held in the Odintsovo city area.

Before that, Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Grushko aforementionedThat Russia will accept citizens from Latvia who will be evacuated from the country.

According to him, Russia will do everything possible to assist in the settlement of citizens returning from Latvia.

Grushko reminded that the Russian Federation has a program to promote voluntary resettlement of Russians living abroad.

More than 3.2 thousand Russians living in Latvia who did not pass the Latvian language exam, did not want to retake the exam or apply for permanent residence status in the European Union, received letters that their residence permits had expired.
