Russian air defense (air defense) destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said.

The Ministry emphasized that aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down around 22:00.

“Mission air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the Bryansk and Belgorod regions,” the statement said.

Before that, Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov statedthat the air defense system shot down an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Yakovlevsky urban area.

The day before, on October 9, Gladkov talked about the bombing of the Belgorod region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, the Ukrainian army dropped two explosives from a quadcopter on the Borisov area in the village of Dubino. No one was injured in the incident, but windows of two private houses were broken and fences were cut. Also in the Valuysky district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Novopetrovka with artillery fire.
