Blinken noted that a US aircraft carrier strike is already in the Mediterranean to clearly demonstrate the US’s intention to deter anyone considering further attacks against Israel.
The Foreign Minister confirmed that Washington has begun providing urgent military assistance to Israel and does not intend to stop there. He said the significant military aid requested by Israel was on the way.
Blinken emphasized that the White House is ready if Israel needs additional military assistance and plans to cooperate with the US Congress on this issue.
