Kuban’s former Deputy Minister of Agriculture sentenced to 12 years in prison for corruption

Former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar Territory Kim Tertitsa was found guilty of corruption. This has been reported Lenta.ru With reference to the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for the District.

The investigation revealed that Tertitsa, who headed the competition commission for the selection of participants in the program for the development of agriculture in the region, demanded a bribe of 4 million rubles from the head of the cooperative for the allocation of a subsidy. The woman reported the officer’s request to the law enforcement and handed over the money to the man under their control on April 30, 2022.

Law enforcement also learned that from December 2017 to February 2018, Tertitsa requested bribes of 10 million rubles from the heads of the cooperative.

During the investigation, Tertitsa’s property was confiscated for 19 million rubles. The man was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime colony, and also fined 15 million rubles and deprived of the right to hold public office for 12 years.

Previously known for corruption in Volgograd prisoner and fined 1.8 million rubles for the former head of the Federal Property Management Agency.
