The Belarusian military has developed its own analogue of the American Starlink satellite system, but for very little money. This comes from a video published by government agency BelTA on its site. Youtube channel.
The video states that the system put together by an unknown soldier is in no way inferior to the system of American entrepreneur Elon Musk. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with the military in the Brest region, said that, unlike in America, “not even billions of dollars” were spent on the Belarusian analogue.
“So we don’t need Musk,” the Belarusian leader said.
The inventor himself explained the principle of the system. That is, for example, somewhere in Minsk there is an Internet access point, the system connects to it remotely via satellite and then distributes this Internet using a router.
General Chance Saltzman, formerly commander of US Space Forces statedIt was alleged that the Russian Armed Forces tried to interfere with the operation of the Starlink satellite communication system in Ukraine.
