The results of the VTsIOM study on the attitude of Russians towards the current president Vladimir Putin accurately reflect reality as it is. This was stated by Dmitry Zhuravlev, scientific director of the Institute of Regional Problems, associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

According to him, the results of the study show that Russian President Vladimir Putin is and remains the most respected and reliable politician in Russia.

“This is quite natural, because we are a presidential country and our president is either a person whom the whole country trusts, like Putin, or a person whom the whole country does not trust. For example, Gorbachev’s situation. It doesn’t work any other way for us. “We are either for or against the politician,” he said.

The expert emphasized that Putin, who ruled the state for many years and under whose rule many useful things were done, has become a person supported by society.

“This is important for the country’s stability and development prospects, but it is not at all unexpected,” Zhuravlev added.

He also emphasized that Putin is evaluated by the respondents as the most influential politician and a person who is irreplaceable in the current situation and therefore destined to win future elections.

“This work was carried out on the occasion of the president’s birthday. At the same time, this is one of the first, but not the last, before the future presidential elections, which will not be so soon – there are only a few months left until March,” Zhuravlev concluded.

Previously “socialbites.ca” reportedThe majority of respondents to the survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) said that President Vladimir Putin can ensure stability and development in the country.
