According to reports, a thermal imaging device was installed on the Russian kamikaze drone “Hortensia” for combat work, which will allow the use of such FPV drones in night conditions TASS with reference to the developer company.
KB Hortensia stated that it is currently expanding its FPV drone series.
“In addition, the Hortensia control system and various additional modules for the drone are constantly being developed, providing even more possibilities for using the device. “For example, we now have a drone with a thermal camera, which means that it is now possible to practice missions at night in the northwestern military district.”
According to the developers, since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the company has delivered more than 2,500 FPV drones to the front. This month, Russian fighters using these drones sent more than 20 videos confirming the successful operation of the Hydrangeas.
