Vedant Patel, head of the press service of the US State Department, said that Serbian forces have partially withdrawn from the administrative border with Kosovo and that Washington expects to reduce tensions. This was reported by TASS.
According to him, the American side observed the unprecedented deployment of Serbian artillery, tanks and mechanized brigades near the Kosovo border. Washington has called on Belgrade to withdraw its forces and reduce tensions.
Patel added that some forces and equipment have been withdrawn from the Kosovo border since September 29.
