The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the positions of Russian troops on the Vremevsky salient, as a result of which several dozen people lost their lives. This was reported by TASS Advisor to the head of the DPR Yan Gagin.
As Gagin noted, for the last few days Ukrainian troops have been trying to recapture positions in the Priyutnoye district and advance in the Urozhaynoye district.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces wanted to transfer infantry to Urozhany and establish a foothold in this region.
“Everything fails. They immediately surrounded us with artillery, very precisely. As a result, the losses amounted to several dozen people,” he wrote.
According to his information, a calm situation continues in the Novomayorsky district, Ukrainian troops are not taking active actions there.
