The first screening of a documentary about British war correspondent Graham Phillips has appeared online. Telegram channel reports this “Editor Shmel”.
He explained his reasons for coming to Donbass within the scope of the project, why he could not remain indifferent, and continued to discuss the events in the region and tell the facts.
“This is work, this is love, this is life, this is Donbass in general, baby. And London, after the victory we will deal with this London issue,” Phillips said.
As the publication explains, the war correspondent covered Euromaidan and became an enemy of Ukraine. Additionally, sanctions were imposed on him in the UK.
“He has been reporting from Donbass for 9 years. Givi was friends with Motorola, Alexander Zakharchenko and communicates well with Denis Pushilin. He was in the hottest spots of the front, was wounded and miraculously survived. Despite all the difficulties, Graham is an incredibly kind person. Literally everyone in Donbas knows and loves him, but not as a British journalist, but as our Russian Grisha,” the message reads.
