As Stoltenberg pointed out, no one should “have any doubt” that the alliance “can protect all allies.”
“Therefore, we have significantly strengthened our presence in the east, including Romania, with a large number of forces and air patrols,” he said.
The Secretary General added that NATO was “monitoring the situation”.
